MLB: Los Angeles 7, Philadelphia 2

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 (UPI) --

Blake DeWitt hit a three-run triple during a five-run first inning and the Los Angeles Dodgers went on to down Philadelphia 7-2 Sunday in Game 3 of the NLCS.

The Phillies lead the best-of-seven series 2-1. Game 4 will be played Monday in Los Angeles.

Manny Ramirez and Casey Blake also knocked in runs, both with singles, in the first-inning and Rafael Furcal homered in the second for the Dodgers.

Pedro Feliz and Pat Burrell drove in the Phillies runs with singles.

Hiroki Kuroda (2-0) was the winner, yielding two runs and five its over six innings. Relievers Cory Wade and Jonathan Broxton held Philadelphia to two singles in the last three innings.

Jamie Moyer (0-2), at 45 the oldest pitcher ever to start a league championship series game, was battered for six runs and six hits in just 1 1/3 innings.

The benches cleared in the third inning after Kuroda threw a pitch over Shane Victorino's head. Umpires warned the teams, the players returned to the dugouts and there were no ejections.
