LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (UPI) --
U.S. recording artist Chris Brown, who was sentenced this week for assaulting singer-girlfriend Rihanna, taped a CNN interview with Larry King Wednesday.
Brown, 20, was sentenced Tuesday to five years probation, 52 weeks of domestic-violence counseling and 180 days of community labor. He pleaded guilty to felony assault in June for beating Rihanna, 21, in February during a heated argument in a car. Brown allegedly was violent toward Rihanna on two other occasions; however, the incidents were not reported to police.
E! News said the TV chat, Brown's first since his Feb. 8 arrest, is expected to air some time next week on "Larry King Live."
A source told E! Brown answered every question he was asked.
