Tommy Bowden Fired At Clemson
Tommy Bowden has been fired as Clemson head coach after leading the team to a 3-3 start. It was Bowden's 10 season as head coach.

Taking over for Tommy Bowden will be assistant coach Dabo Swinney. Swinney has been working as wide receivers coach and assistant head coach.

The Clemson Tigers had been highly ranked heading into the season, but have lost more than expected.

Tommy Bowden ends his career with Clemson the owner of a winning record. Overall he sported 69-42 record and lead his team to eight bowl appearances.
