Bill Gwatney shot three times

Bill Gwatney, Democratic Party Chairman in the state of Arkansas, is in critical condition after being shot three times by an unknown assailant.

The unidentified assailant has been captured by the police after a car chase. The man was shot by police and captured in Grant County, about 30 miles from where the shooting took place.

The suspect has been identified as a white male in his 40s who left the scene of the shooting in a blue truck. He had asked to speak to Bill Gwatney, and upon being told he couldn't, went into his office anyway and shot him.

Gwatney was well known by both Bill and Hillary Clinton, who said he was "a cherished friend and confidante," in statement released to the public. "We wish him a quick recovery," the statement continued.
