Bigfoot News - Bigfoot Body DNA Evidence Faulty - Autopsy Next
Big foot press conference turns up no evidence, autopsy on Yeti body found in Georgia up next
DNA evidence concerning the "Georgia Bigfoot" turns up inconclusive, casting doubt on the discovery. The two Georgia men who captivated the attention of the world with their tale of videotaping Bigfoot as well as finding a Bigfoot body in Georgia failed to deliver on their promise of proving their assertion with DNA evidence. Three samples of DNA evidence from the corpse were studied, and none revealed an unknown life-form.

Many people who attended the press conference in Palo Alto, California left saying the evidence resembled a gorilla suit more than anything else. Tom Biscardi, a known Bigfoot hoaxster, was again left with egg on his face. In 2005 he also held a similar press conference which failed in the same manner.
Curt Nelos, a University of Minnesota scientist studied 3 DNA samples from the alleged Sasquatch corpse. He concluded that one sample came from a human and the other was 96 percent likely to be from an opossum. The third sample was inconclusive.
Most sightings of the legendary Bigfoot have happened in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, and not in Georgia.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer were equally non-compelling in their presentation. The two claimed they spotted the dead bigfoot while out one day in the woods. They also claim that three "Bigfoots" were frolicking at the same time. Whitton and Dyer own a company that sells Bigfoot merchandise and Biscardi has apparently made his living since 1971 by "Searching for Bigfoot."
Biscardi now claims that Bigfoot is still in the freezer and he will be "performing an autopsy" to find out the truth.
