Usain Bolt Video

Usain Bolt 9.69 video from Beijing

Usain Bolt has made Jamaica proud by running a blisteringly fast 9.69 race in the 100 meter dash. Bolt, the 6'5" 21 year old stunned the crowd with the fastest recorded time in history.

Even more impressive, Bolt broke his own world record by .03 seconds and finished a full two-tenths of a second faster than Richard Thompson of Trinidad and Tobago.

Now people are awaiting the final results of his doping test, to make sure his record running race will stand.

Even his adversary Thompson was very impressed with the performance by Bolt.

"Bolt is a phenomenal athlete," he said. "It was a matter of time until he produced what he is producing now."

Remarkably, this was only the 8th time Bolt has run a 100 meter final race. Right now he looks like he's re-written track and field history. Tyson Gay of the U.S. did not receive a medal.
