Angel Pantoja Medina Stands For His Three Day Wake

A 24 year old man that was found dead underneath a bridge in San Juan, Puerto Rico was given his last wish - to stand up during his wake.

The owner of the Marin Funeral Home obliged the young man's dying wish by using a special embalming treatment that allowed him to stand upright for his three day wake at the family home. Angel Pantoja Medina received mourning friends and family while he was propped up in the living room of his mother's home while standing next to his coffin.

Medina didn't wear his best suit to the great beyond, instead he was dressed in a pair of sunglasses, a Yankee's baseball cap and a silver crucifix.

Police are investigating Medina's death. He was laid to rest on Monday.
