Now that Zac Efron is all "graduated" from High School Musical, he's looking for new work and it looks like a remake of the popular 80's movie, Footloose could be his next project.

Kevin Bacon, who played the original part of Ren McCormack - a teenager that was forced to relocate to a small town where the local
government had banned dancing and rock music - has given his blessing for Efron to reprise his role.

Kevin Bacon told Heart FM, a London based radio station, "I met Zac briefly at an event... and we talked... only briefly... but he seemed like a really nice kid and I really do wish him all the best with it."

The film, expected to be released in 2010 by Paramount s is rumored to be directed by Kenny Ortega, the director of High School Musical.
