Ford Cruise Control List
DETROIT, MI., Oct. 14 (TOTI) --

Ford has updated its Ford Cruise Control Recall list of cars that are currently being affected by recalls. The Ford Cruise Control Switch Recall affects nearly 14 million Fords, making this recall the largest in company history.

The Cruise Control switch recall was caused by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association saying this is a clear fire hazard.

The first list of cars affected was update to include many more models today. Not only is this the biggest recall in U.S. history, but it's also the largest recall ever done by Ford in Canada.

The vehicles affected by this recall are the 1995-2002 Explorers/Mercury Mountaineers, 1995-2003 Windstars, 1995-97 and 2001-03 Rangers, 2000-03 Excursions with diesel engine, 1992-2003 Econoline vans and 1993-97, 1994 F35 motor homes as well as the 1999-2003 F-Series Super Duty trucks with diesel engine.

The recalls begin on October 26.
