Daniel Chopra used a bogey-free 6-under-par 65 Friday to jump into the lead after two rounds of the Singapore Open, an Asian stop of the European PGA Tour.

Weather again caused problems. Storms Thursday caused a suspension of first-round play, leading to a late start Friday. Again storms came into play and many golfers were unable to complete their second rounds before dark.

The second round is to be completed Saturday ahead of the scheduled third round.

Chopra is at 7-under 135 for the tournament. Yin-Shin Chen and first-round leader Ian Poulter are also at 7-under but had most of their second rounds to complete.

Among those who have played 36 holes, Wen-Chong Liang and Andrew Dodt were at 5-under 137.

Chopra had three bogeys on the front nine in his first round and wound up that round at 1-under 70 and tied for 20th place. But, playing the back side first in the second round, he had four birdies to make the turn in 31 and posted back-to-back birdies at Nos. 6-7 to get to 6-under for the day.
