DNC Protesters - CodePink Protester Knocked To Ground

An interesting sideshow is going on at this year's Democratic National Convention in Denver. A number of protests have been happening, along with the main events being held by the Democrats. CodePink was there, demonstrating against the war in Iraq. Local police appear to use a good amount of force and knock one CodePink protester to the ground.

CodePink is an organization that describes itself thus:

This is a 501(c)(4) issue advocacy organization, used for nonpartisan civic engagement projects. We do not support or oppose any federal candidates. We aim to educate the public about the costs of war to the United States, the world, the earth and all lives affected by it in order to redirect the energy, money and time spent on war toward activities which directly further our common good, such as education, healthcare, job training, alternative energy development, and deficit reduction.

CodePink has engineered a number of high profile demonstrations this year which have helped them gather a lot of attention.

The protester, Alicia Forrest, was arrested for interfering with an arrest and was held overnight in jail.
