Kevin Durant scored 25 points Friday and Oklahoma City ran off nine straight points in the fourth period to defeat Detroit 91-83.

The Oklahoma City franchise's last win in Detroit came in December 2003 -- long before the Thunder moved from Seattle.

Durant added 12 rebounds and was aided by 14 points from Nenad Krstic and 10 from Russell Westbrook.

Oklahoma City, after being among the weakest teams in the league last season, has won its first two games.

Ben Gordon led Detroit with 25 points and Rodney Stuckey had 21.

Nick Collison started the fourth-quarter run with a jumper and Green finished it with a 3-point play to give the Thunder a 73-63 lead with 8 minutes left.

Detroit came no closer than four points the rest of the way.
