Woman cited for repeated horn honking

VANDALIA, Ohio, Nov. 3 (UPI) --

Police in Ohio said a woman was cited for disorderly conduct for repeatedly honking her horn while driving past a neighbor's home.

Vandalia police said a woman called officers to report a female neighbor was honking the horn every time she drove past her window and investigators warned the neighbor to cease the honking, the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News reported Tuesday.

However, the complainant's daughter took video of the neighbor honking her horn outside of the house the following day and police returned. Officers spoke to the neighbor and she said she was honking the horn to avoid an accident with another car. However, police said no other cars were visible in the video.

The woman was again warned to cease the honking and cited for disorderly conduct.
