Cleveland Police discuss Anthony Sowell Case

This case is one of the worst serial killings in Cuyahoga county's history. Prior to Sowell's arrest, neighbors had complained about a foul odor in the neighborhood, but nothing could have prepared them for what the cause of the stench was.

Sowell has been charged with five counts of aggravated murder and could face the death penalty if convicted. He served 15 years in prison for rape
in 1989 and lived at the residence since his release in 2005.

Residents await the identification of the victims. A number of people have gathered near the home with photos of friends and family that have went missing in the area.

The search for additional victims continues.
