Freed mercenary relieved at return from E. Guinea
LUTON, England (AFP) --
Mercenary Simon Mann arrived home Wednesday after being freed from jail in Equatorial Guinea expressing relief to be back in Britain.
"This is the most wonderful homecoming I could ever have imagined," he said in the statement read out by a spokesman, adding: "It's the best, best early Christmas present my family and I could ever possibly have imagined."
