Chris Brown And Rihanna Both To Appear On TV
Chris Brown and Rihanna will both be on television today, detailing their versions of what's happened since Brown beat Rihanna on the night of the Grammy Awards.
Rihanna will be appearing on 20/20 where she talks about the incident. She relates that if it could happen to her, it could happen to anybody.
Brown, for his part, will appear on MTV, where he's expected to take responsibility for his actions.
"My thoughts is like, 'Why did it happen?', like 'What was I thinking?', 'What is wrong with you?'" Brown said.
Rihanna has remained extremely popular ever since the assault, but Brown hasn't been so lucky. His popularity has declined precipitously, and it is hoped that his new Fan Appreciation tour will help to win people back to his side.
Music industry insiders are not completely optimistic that Brown will do well on this tour.
"Chris lost a lot of fans after he assaulted Rihanna. And after that whole scandal, he's not exactly kid-friendly. What parent would buy their children tickets to his concert?" an industry insider told the New York Daily News.
