NBA: Philadelphia 97, New Jersey 94

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 6 (UPI) --

Lou Williams' 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists Friday, paced the Philadelphia 76ers' 97-94 win over the winless New Jersey Nets.

New Jersey held a 73-68 lead entering the fourth period, but Williams made a driving lay-up and a 20-foot jumper, giving Philadelphia a 92-90 lead with 3:11 left.

Andre Iguodala's 3-pointer made it 95-92 and the winners held on. Iguodala finished with 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Jason Kapono scored 14 and Marreese Speights 10 for the 76ers, who have won three of their last four games.

Brook Lopez led New Jersey with 22 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots. Trenton Hassell scored 17 with 12 rebounds.

Rafer Alston added 14 with six assists, while Bobby Simmons added 10 points for the Nets, who have lost their first six games.
