COL FB: TCU 55, San Diego State 12

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 7 (UPI) --

No. 4 TCU leveraged quarterback Andy Dalton's two passing touchdowns and two rushing scores in a 55-12 road pounding of San Diego State Saturday.

Dalton piled up 239 passing yards as the undefeated Horned Frogs (9-0, 5-0 MWC) used a potent, 551-yard offensive attack to overwhelm the Aztecs (4-5, 2-3).

Most of TCU's yardage came on the ground, where rushers Matthew Tucker, Ed Wesley and Joseph Turner each found paydirt as TCU racked up 312 rushing yards. Among the receiving corps, Ryan Christian collected both of Dalton's TD passes en route to a 106-yard performance.

The Aztecs were paced by quarterback Ryan Lindley's 16-of-34 performance for 164 yards and a touchdown. But he was intercepted twice.

After posting an early 21-6 lead, the Horned Frogs turned it into a first-half rout as Dalton found Christian with a 44-yard scoring strike and Ross Evans' 25-yard field goal with 2:54 left in the half produced a 31-6 game at the break.
