Rapper Remy Ma has plead guilty to charges stemming from the shooting of her friend outside of a Manhattan Night Club. The rapper, who's real name is Remy Smith, had fought with the woman, who was described as her good friend.

“I ask everyone to keep an open mind,” attorney Scott Leemon said. “Things are not always as they seem.”

Charges against the rapper include attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The good news for Ma is that her victim Makeda Barnes-Joseph is currently in stable condition, so that should keep the "attempted" in the murder charges.

"Get the camera out of my fucking face" Remy Ma told reporters upon leaving Rikers Island last night.
