Happy Birthday Google! Google has turned 10 years of age. In that decade, the company has transformed how people use the internet and has become a household name that is synonymous with search. "Just Google it dude!"

It all started when Sergey Brin and Larry Page were undergraduates at Stanford University. When they wrote their seminal text The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine, the world realized there just might be another way to rank web documents. Thus, a company was born.
Google, Inc., which is located in Mountain Valley, California is the result of the seed planted with that Stanford Thesis.
Google now has a market cap of $142 billion dollars and is on pace to do over $20 billion in sales this year alone. Google now employs over 19,000 people worldwide.
So, Happy Birthday Google. And may you have many more!
