Christian The Lion Hugs His Former Owners - After Being Freed a Year Earlier
John Rendall and Ace Berg decided to bring home a lion cub they found for sale in Harrod's back in 1969. Like all lion cubs, the cat whom they'd named Christian, soon grew to be too big for them to keep at their apartment, so they introduced him to his natural habitat in Africa.
A year later Rendall and Berg wanted to check on Christian, but were told that he had established his own pride and wouldn't recognize the couple that saved him from a small, cramped cage.
But the humans were wrong.
After searching for Christian, they found their beloved lion cub and he greeted them with a big hug.
Be sure to grab a tissue as this one might have you in tears by the end.
This is proof that the ones that you love are never forgotten - even if you're a ferocious lion.
