LONDON, Oct. 27 (UPI) --
Amy Winehouse's publicist said the British soul singer, who has been in poor health, was hospitalized during the weekend for tests on her chest and lungs.
The 25-year-old Grammy Award-winner has long battled an addiction to drugs and was hospitalized in June with a severe lung ailment.
Her representative Chris Goodman told People magazine a doctor visited her at home last week and she was taken to the London Clinic during the weekend.
"They wanted to do some tests as a precaution," Goodman said. "Obviously, she had lung and chest problems which she had treatment for not so long ago, so they're just making sure. ... She's fine."
