Chief Executive Officer Aylwin Lewis of Sears Holding Group has been fired. It's safe to blame low fourth-quarter sales that failed to rejuvenate the retailing company for his dismissal. After Christmas numbers failed to live up to expectations, the whole company is going through a re-structuring.

Investor Edward Lambert, the company owner, has made the moves at Sears Holding Corp. after two disappointing years since he took over the company. Aylwin Lewis has been CEO for the duration of that time.

The company has further been accused of never making numbers on Lewis, and losing substantial market share, which is critically important to a large retailer.

The company further announced that Sears would be broken up into 5 operational divisions.
