Brazil Carnival Kicks Off

Carnival in Brazil is about to kick off. The famous gathering is famous for its' ribald flavor. This year the government of Brazil is urging people to take it easy with drinking and wild sexual debauchery.

"Everybody has the right to have fun and enjoy themselves but it is important to remember that the next week we have to work and look after our families," President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, according to Reuters.

Carnival goes on for five days, with huge celebrations in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Recife.
