Jason Wahler - A New Kind Of Celebrity - Life's Loser
by Alan Henderson in gossip

Reality star more known for his notoriety than any perceived talent
Jason Wahler is a fascinating celebrity to me. He's interesting because he represents a new breed of celebrity that's common these days.
Jason Wahler is famous for playing himself in 26 television episodes. That's it. If you don't believe me, you can consult the world famous IMDB, where it lists his credits. I've included a screen capture for your perusal.
That's right. Jason Wahler is what's known as a bonafide "reality star". He doesn't act. He doesn't sing. Hell, he won't even dance to entertain us. He is now famous for essentially two roles:
- Playing himself - an oafish lout who hangs out with the other miscreants on "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills"
- Lawless Jason Wahler - an outlaw gaining in notoriety in the last year with each of his startling 4 arrests!
Jason Wahler is a deviant and an apparent sociopath hellbent on destruction
Somewhere, out there, right now, is Jason Wahler. He's probably either coming in from a night out on the town or preparing to down a few fifths of alcohol as is his apparent tradition. And once he gets his proverbial drunk on, he'll turn his wrath on the unsuspecting public as so many of our other most important celebrities seem to do.
Why do "we" as a society tolerate this type of behavior from a person like Jason Wahler?
All the guy did was play himself on "Laguna Beach". It wasn't even a good show. I never even saw the crappy show, but I'd assume he sat around on his rich ass near the beach in California hitting on all of the rich, slutty, and uptight girls at his school. And when he wasn't doing that, he was getting wasted and getting into trouble. That sounds an awful lot like the Jason Wahler I know from his many media reports.
What a Resume: 4 arrests in the last nine months and he was snapped playing Russian Roulette
- Yesterday - Seattle police Friday charged actor Jason Wahler with assault, criminal trespass and underage drinking, arising from an arrest at a Seattle hotel last month.
- In March, Wahler was arrested in Greenville, N.C., for underage drinking and resisting a public officer.
- Jason Wahler snapped playing Russian Roulette - It's only a matter of time until a tragedy happens
-
Here's what happened at the party where Jason played Russian Roulette:
"We were just wasted one night and we ended up back at Jay's house in North Hollywood,” the source said.
“Everyone was just playing around and they decided to play Russian Roulette. There was one bullet in the gun and Jason and Jay both pointed the gun at their heads and pulled the trigger.“
“Jason's out of control. He's out of his f**king mind,” the source added. No one was injured.
The incidents continue at a staggering pace. Jason Wahler is an example of what happens when privilege and undeserved fame are allowed to permeate into our culture, creating false icons who need to seek therapy, and who should not be thrust into the hot glare of the spotlight, which seems to melt their very reason.
According to all reports it looks Wahler is out of control and could die if his behavior continues
And who profits from this bad person's constant bad publicity? Well, it's your old friends at MTV who employ Jason on "The Hills". They know damn well their "star" is out of control, but they apparently won't do anything about it. I can only imagine how long YOU would last at YOUR job if you were arrested 4 times in nine months. I'd venture to guess it would be about as long as I'd spend watching "The Hills", which is to say less than a nanosecond.
MTV makes their money exploiting youth culture
MTV loves to exploit youths. Now one of their main reality stars is the literal poster boy for underage drinking. I call on executives from that company to fire Jason Wahler and set an example that you have to be accountable for your actions in this world. If they don't, I feel they're missing a great opportunity to do the right thing. Jason Wahler needs some tough love right now. He doesn't need MTV looking in the other direction as his behavior deteriorates.
Do you think MTV should fire Jason Wahler?
