What Should I Eat If I Have Candida?
If you have Candida there is a strict diet that is required in order to achieve success. The diet can be broken down simply into avoid foods and ok or beneficial foods. This diet is necessary to your success in recovering fully from Candida as it determines the type of environment your body creates and what type of life forms it will allow to survive.

In a healthy internal digestive tract beneficial bacteria such as acidophilus thrive and produce vitamins for the body, they help in assimilation and absorption of other nutrients and defend against invading organisms such as Candida. When a diet shifts to too many refined and processed foods and large amounts of sugar are consumed pathogenic yeast like Candida can feast and remain untouched in your body causing endless negative health consequences as a result.

So then, what should I eat if I have Candida?

All of the following will either directly or indirectly increase the amount of Candida in your body. As long as they are consumed they will further the development of your Candida infection.

Avoid: Sugar, Refined and processed foods, Glutinous foods, Fermented foods, Dairy, alcohol, caffeine, yeast, shell fish, artificial ingredients and flavours. There is more to this list but these are the key ones to avoid.

The following are foods you should eat in abundance they will help starve out Candida Albicans and allow your body to heal rapidly.

Eat More: Leafy green vegetables such as spinach or kale, Sea vegetables such as seaweed, pseudo grains or non-glutinous grains such as quinoa, millet, amaranth and buckwheat. Lean meats like free range chicken, turkey and wild fish.

Overall you should aim to increase your fiber intake through the use of fiber shakes that contain ground hemp powder, flax seed powder or psyllium. Consuming at least 35 grams of fiber per day through these shakes will cause massive bowel flora changes and allow you to recover much more quickly from Candida.

As a final thought though, it should be said that a clean diet will NOT be enough to eliminate Candida for good. This is due to the fact that the root cause has not been eliminated. It needs to be asked what allowed Candida to take hold over your body, healthy people won't develop Candida out of thin air. If you can eliminate this root cause Candida can and will go away all on it's own without forceful direct elimination through things like anti-fungals. You'll no longer have to wonder what to eat if you have Candida.
