Bad Neighbors Beware
by Bambi in this-and-that

Being a bad neighbor has turned into a public affair in Central Florida. Now the "good" neighbors have a website where they can leave anonymous comments, videos and pictures of their "bad" neighbors for everyone in the world to see.
A new website, Rottenneighbor.com facilitates this reporting with just a few clicks of your mouse, documenting the "offensive" behavior - whether it be listening to music too loud, a problem with domestic disputes, frequent parties or other bad neighbor moves.
Many people aren't too keen to the idea, saying that this could bring down home values
in areas with particularly bad neighbors, however developers at the site say it will help consumers make informed decisions about moving to a new area.
Rottenneighbor.com allows visitors to type in any home address to see how many bad neighbors reside there. Google maps will show a
bright red house icon where bad neighbors have been reported. Visitors are allowed to leave good comments, too.
The website was started after the founder moved into a new apartment with his girlfriend and found there to be an obnoxious smell coming from another tenant's living space. He said had he known about this prior to moving, he wouldn't have done it, so he started the service to help other people that want to know more about where they were moving.
Some people aren't too happy about this, but so far the site is doing well, boasting 1 million hits per day.
