Cutler named AFC's top offensive player

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (UPI) --

Denver quarterback Jay Cutler is the top AFC offensive player of the week for the NFL's 10th week.

The three-year veteran tossed three fourth quarter touchdown passes rallying the Broncos to a 34-30 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Overall, he completed 24-of- 42 passes (57.1 percent) for a career-high 447 yards, and overcame his one interception while earning the first AFC offensive player of the week award of his career.

Other AFC honorees were Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis (defense) and Tennessee punter Craig Hentrich (special teams).

Lewis made a team-high nine tackles and intercepted two passes in the Ravens' 41-13 win over the Houston Texans.

Hentrich, in his 15th NFL season, punted eight times for 302 yards (37.8 average) and matched a career-high with five punts inside the 20-yard line, helping the Titans (9-0) top the Chicago Bears 21-14 and remain the league's lone unbeaten team.

It was Hentrich's fifth POW award, and the seventh for Lewis, second this season.
