LMU Shooting

A shooting outside the gates of LMU caused the school to be closed. LAPD say the shooting occurred at 80th St. and Loyola Blvd.

The shooting happened due to a rivalry between two high school basketball teams Westchester High and Fairfax High. A 15 year old boy was injured in the shooting.

Don Juan, a senior accounting major at LMU saw the scene shortly after the shooting. "I saw a guy with a gun shot, bleeding from the side. People were like 'What's going on?'" he said.

The investigation is now in the hands of the LAPD.
