Dakota DeRemus

Dakota DeRemus died from a beating he took on Monday, and the teen who was responsible for bullying him is being charged with involuntary manslaughter. The evidence against the lad would seemingly be strong: the whole fight was captured on a cell phone by a bystander.

Now, Dustin Howard, 16, of Gardner, Kansas faces charges that he killed DeRemus "involuntarily" while committing battery on him.

There are strong indications that Howard had bullied DeRemus, who had a heart problem all his life. Dakota DeRemus is to be buried today.
