Police locked down Seton for about two hours after responding to the incident at about 8:30 PM on Monday night. Students were barred from going outside and entrances to the campus were blocked.

The shooter, identified as Anthony Papalia, 22, of Aberdeen, had gone to the campus to visit a female student. According to reports he shot himself in the stomach while sitting in a car near the Xavier Hall dorm.

Officials haven't determined the reason for the shooting, but suspect that a dispute between the two parties might be to blame. Luckily no one else was hurt or killed in this campus shooting.
