Bad breath, slobbering out for Yule kisses
MARKHAM, Ontario, Nov. 26 (UPI) --
An online poll of Canadians who exchange Christmas kisses under mistletoe found bad breath and slobbering are the two biggest turnoffs.
The survey of 1,078 adults for Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite power toothbrush found 49 percent saying bad breath breached mistletoe etiquette, while wet or slobbery kisses were hated most by 32 percent of respondents, a release said.
When it came to celebrity turn-ons, 42 percent of female respondents said they would like to lock lips with George Clooney under the mistletoe and 29 percent of men chose Angelina Jolie, the survey said.
As for the style of kissing, 36 percent said the single-cheek peck
is their personal holiday style., while 29 percent nationwide claimed the double-cheek peck
as their style. That number shot up to 76 percent among French-Canadians in Quebec, the release said. Directly kissing on the lips was the preferred approach for 25 percent of respondents.
