Green Bean Casserole - A Holiday Favorite
CLEVELAND Oh., Nov. 26 (TOTI)-- With Thanksgiving just a few hours away, it won't be long before people around the nation start preparing their holiday dinners.

Many families and friends will gather to give thanks and feast on slow roasted turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes and of course, green bean casserole.

Green bean casserole is easy to make and kids even like it! Not sure how to make green bean casserole? Try our 5 ingredient green bean casserole recipe.

What You'll Need:
  • 2 cans of drained green beans.

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1 10 3/4 oz. can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • Salt and Pepper as desired.

  • 1 8 oz. can of French Fried Onions.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium mixing bowl combine green beans, milk, soup, salt, pepper and half a can of french fried onions. Mix well. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes. Top casserole with remaining dried onions and bake for another 5 minutes or until onions turn golden brown.

This recipe can easily be doubled if you're having a large gathering, and chances are there won't be any leftovers. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!
