NBA: Boston 119, Golden State 111
BOGOTA, Mass., Nov. 26 (UPI) --
Rajon Rondo ignited a third-quarter surge Wednesday that rallied Boston to a 119-111 win over Golden State.
The Celtics have won six in a row and improved their season mark to 14-2, best in the Eastern Conference.
The Warriors, playing the third game of a five-game road trip, outscored the Celtics by 20 in the second period and owned a 67-54 lead at halftime.
Rondo then scored 16 of his 22 points in the third period and Boston took a three-point lead going into the final quarter.
Ray Allen scored 25 for Boston, and both Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce had 21.
Golden State, which has lost four straight, was led by 32 points from Corey Maggette and 30 from Stephen Jackson.
The teams combined to take 167 shots from the field.
