NHL: New Jersey 3, Florida 2 (OT)

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 26 (UPI) --

The first goal of the season from Johnny Oduya came with 56 seconds left in overtime Wednesday and gave New Jersey a 3-2 win over Florida.

Oduya also picked up an assist, but the Devils let a 2-0 lead get away in the final 2:19 of regulation. It was New Jersey's fifth straight win, the Devils' longest streak of the season.

Scott Clemmensen made 36 saves and the Devils got regulation goals from Brian Gionta and Travis Zajac.

Jay Bouwmeester and David Booth scored for Florida, which has lost three out of four. Booth's goal came on a rebound with just 8 seconds to play in the third.

Gionta has scored in five straight games, the longest such streak of his career. He is one game short of equaling the franchise record.
