NBA: Phoenix 110, Minnesota 102

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 26 (UPI) --

Shaquille O'Neal scored 18 points Wednesday, keying Phoenix's hot shooting performance in a 110-102 victory over Minnesota.

All five Phoenix starters scored in double figures and the Suns hit 53.6 percent of their attempts from the field. Phoenix won its third straight.

Steve Nash contributed 20 points, Amare Stoudemire had 16 and Raja Bell 15.

Minnesota was led by Al Jefferson with 28 points and 17 rebounds.

Phoenix opened the second period on a 13-2 run and took a 59-43 lead at intermission. Minnesota climbed to within eight going into the fourth quarter and Phoenix did not take a double-digit lead until it put together a 6-0 run midway through the period. That lead grew to as many as 16 points.

The Suns had dropped their previous two trips to Minneapolis.
