SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 27 (UPI) --
Paul Millsap scored 24 points Wednesday and Utah pulled away in the third period to defeat Memphis 117-110.
The Jazz rebounded from their first home loss of the season to dominate Memphis, which has dropped four in a row.
Utah claimed a 13-point halftime lead and then blew the game open in the third period by surging to a 95-71 advantage.
Mehmet Okur and Ronnie Brewer both scored 21 for the Jazz, who are 33-2 at home since last New Year's Eve.
Rudy Gay had 27 for Memphis and O.J. Mayo had 22. Both teams shot 53 percent from the field and both went to the foul line 28 times. But Utah missed only four free throw attempts and Memphis missed 15.
