Arrest made in Ark. TV anchor's death
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Nov. 27 (UPI) --
A man suspected of killing a television anchor woman in Arkansas was arrested Wednesday night, police said.
The Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported Curtis Lavelle Vance, 28, of Marianna was arrested at a Little Rock house between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. by police acting on a tip. He is suspected in the October slaying of Anne Pressly, a newscaster at KATV.
Pressly was found unconscious in her bed Oct. 20 by her mother and died five days later without regaining consciousness.
We have a very, very solid case,
Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. I'm confident we have the right man.
