Europe's markets edge up Thursday
PARIS, Nov. 27 (UPI) --
European stock markets made gains Thursday, the DJStoxx 600 gaining for the fourth consecutive day as government interventions appeared to appease investors.
The DJStoxx 600 index rose 1.8 percent, up 3.58 points to 202.43. In London, the FTSE 100 index gained 1.47 percent, up 60.97 points to 4,213.66. In Paris, the CAC 40 gained 60.51 points to 3,230.36, up 1.91 percent.
Stocks rose in Germany. The DAX index in Frankfurt rose 1.88 percent, up 85.74 to 4,646.24.
In currency trading Thursday, the dollar gained against the euro at $1.2887 compared with Wednesday's $1.2906.
