Woman finds needles in jam

An employee at a treatment center in Sweden has alleged needles were hidden in the jam she was served at work.

The woman said she sat down to eat her evening meal and bit down on an acupuncture needle, the Swedish news agency tt reported Thursday.

The woman said she found 10 more needles in the jam on her plate, which was served her at the Henjahemmet treatment center in Gislaved, in southern Sweden, tt reported. More needles allegedly were found in the jar of jam itself.

The center's staff filed a complaint Wednesday with the Swedish Work Environment Authority, which has turned the matter over to police, said authority spokesman Arne Agren.
