NFL: Tennessee 47, Detroit 10
DETROIT, Nov. 27 (UPI) --
Chris Johnson and LenDale White rushed for two touchdowns Thursday, helping the Tennessee Titans roll to a 47-10 rout of the Detroit Lions.
The victory helped the Titans avenge their only defeat this season, 34-13 against the New York Jets last Sunday.
Johnson gained 125 yards on 16 carries.
White gained 106 yards on 23 carries.
Kerry Collins completed 11-of-18 passes and the defense held Detroit to just 23 rushing yards.
The Titans (11-1) handed the Lions their worst-ever loss in their annual Thanksgiving Day contest.
Tennessee settled the contest with a 21-point first quarter and led 35-10 at the half.
Detroit's Daunte Culpepper went 13-of-26 for 134 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
Calvin Johnson caught five passes for 66 yards and Chris Hanson booted a team-record 53-yard second quarter field goal for the Lions (0-12), who matched their worst start in team history.
They also went 0-12 in the 2001 season.
