Paula Abdul Haunted By Suicide Of Fan
Paula Abdul is being haunted by the stark image of a deranged yet devoted fan who killed herself near the star's home.
Paula Goodspeed had emulated Abdul, even dressing like her for months, before killing herself in Sherman Oaks, California. Abdul was familiar with Goodspeed, 30, and had expressed concerns about her behavior, according to a report in People.
"Paula had been scared for her life, especially the past six months," said an insider.
Goodspeed had been sending Paula Abdul letters for months, and even professed love for her recently.
The suicide has so shaken Abdul, that she recently told friends she's moving.
"She is too freaked out to stay in the house," said one. "Paula is definitely moving."
