The Minnesota Twins have acquired a right-handed pitcher they feel can help the team win with their signing of Livan Hernandez.

For Livan Hernandez the signing should come as a relief. He had lingered much rather than he originally expected in the free agent market. The Twins contract will pay Livan Hernandez somewhere in the neighborhood of $5 to $6 million a year. I hear that's a great neighborhood to be in.

Livan Hernandez is a right handed 33 year old pitcher who brings experience to the pitching staff in Minnesota. Hernandez has been known as workhouse in recent years, so expect him to get a lot of work in with the Twins.
