NBA: N.Y. Knicks 138, Golden State 125
NEW YORK, Nov. 29 (UPI) --
David Lee's career-high 37 points Saturday led the New York Knicks to a 138-125 win over Golden State.
The three-year veteran, a first-round pick by the Knicks in the 2005 NBA draft out of Florida, also recorded 21 rebounds and three steals in his best professional outing.
Al Harrington had 36 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Duhon set a franchise record with 22 assists, and two others scored in double figures for the Knicks, who won for just the second time in their last seven games.
They also established a Madison Square Garden scoring record with their 82-64 halftime lead.
The lead was 116-96 lead heading into the final quarter.
Corey Maggette led Golden State with 32 points and 12 rebounds.
Former Knick Jamal Crawford, traded to the Warriors last week, had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
C.J. Watson scored 23 points and Andris Biedrins scored 16 with seven rebounds and five steals, but the Warriors suffered their sixth straight defeat.
