NBA: Denver 106, Minnesota 97
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 29 (UPI) --
Chauncey Billups' 27 points with four assists Saturday pushed the Denver Nuggets to a 106-97 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Nuggets led 66-63 three minutes into the third quarter before a 14-0 run started them on the way to their seventh straight win over the T-Wolves.
Anthony, who scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, started the spurt with a layup and Dahntay Jones ended it with a jumper.
Linas Kleiza scored 15 points, while fellow reserve Anthony Carter had 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists for the Nuggets, who have won three of four overall.
Randy Foye led Minnesota with 25 points and six assists.
Al Jefferson scored 20 with 13 rebounds, while rookie Kevin Love added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have split their last six games.
Mike Miller missed all six of his three-point attempts and Minnesota shot 6-of-23 in that category.
