NHL: Minnesota 6, Nashville 2

NASHVILLE, Nov. 30 (UPI) --

Mikko Koivu registered two goals and an assist Saturday, keying the Minnesota Wild's 6-2 victory against the Nashville Predators.

In their win, the defensive-minded Wild equaled a team record with five power-play goals and tied a season-high for goals in one game.

Andrew Brunette had a goal and two assists.

Two others scored once, Antti Miettinen had three assists, and goalie Josh Harding made 25 saves on 27 shots in just his second start this season.

Nashville's goals were scored by Jason Arnott in the second period and David Legwand (power play) in the third.

Goalie Dan Ellis allowed six goals on 29 shots for the Predators, who have lost four of their last six games.

Minnesota finished 5-for-11 on the power play, while the Predators were 1-for-4.
