NHL: Calgary 3, Vancouver 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 30 (UPI) --

Calgary needed third-period goals by David Moss and Matthew Lombardi Saturday to get past Vancouver 3-1.

The game's first goal came with 39 seconds left in the second period when the Flames' Daymond Langkow scored on the power play.

Miikka Kiprusoff faced only 18 shots and allowed just one to get by him, a shot by Kyle Wellwood.

Vancouver goalie Cory Schneider made 28 saves.

Calgary has now won five of its last six outings, while the Canucks have lost two straight after a four-game winning streak.
