NBA: LA Clippers 97, Miami 96
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) --
The LA Clippers went on a 17-3 run, keyed by Zach Randolph's eight points, in the final minutes Saturday and then held on in a 97-96 nail-biter over Miami.
Randolph and Al Thornton finished with 27 points apiece.
Baron Davis, who got the Clippers' last two baskets, scored 15 points and had nine assists for Los Angeles, which ended a four-game losing streak. Marcus Camby had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Dwyane Wade had 26 points and 11 assists to lead the Heat, who have lost three of four. But his three-point attempt to win the game with less than 3 seconds left missed.
Rookie Michael Beasley ended with 24 points off the bench and Udonis Haslem added 18 points.
The Clippers led 29-28 after the first quarter. The Heat were up 56-54 at halftime and 73-68 going into the fourth quarter.
