Bad weather cancels shuttle's first landing bid
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida (AFP) --
Bad weather on Sunday forced NASA to abandon a first attempt to land the space shuttle Endeavour back on Earth, the US space agency said.
A second attempt to land in Florida was now being considered at 1954 GMT if the weather clears.
But if conditions continue to deteriorate, then flight director Bryan Lunney may consider a third and final landing attempt at the Edwards air base in California.
