ATLANTA, Nov. 30 (UPI) --
Brad Boyes' third-period power-play goal turned out to be the game-winner Sunday for the St. Louis Blues in a 4-2 win over the Atlanta Thrashers.
Boyes was assisted by Carlo Colaiacovo and Jeff Woywitka with 8:15 to play, sending the Blues ahead 3-2. Jay McClement added an empty-netter, assisted by Boyes, with 3 seconds left.
David Backes and Keith Tkachuk tallied the other St. Louis goals.
Colby Armstrong and Niclas Havelid scored for Atlanta.
